What's the market doing on nice original late model 4020's?

Do some research. Nice original with out pics? Depends on the buyers desire to acquire.

From what little I heard they are down from where they had been.

I will second they are down from the high a few years ago. I passed one up a few weeks ago that sold for $10K with new tires but I did not think there was any room to make anything reselling it.

The key words are nice and original which to me means original paint and low hours.Beleive me that eliminates most of the 55,581 total 69/72 4020s produced.I have two buyers looking for that type of tractor and don't have any like that .As for value 2or3 scvs,power shift or syngro,hours,tires make a lot of difference.I have seen a rise in interest for nice 4320s but usually nice original 2520D,3020D,4000,D 4020D ,4320D all bring about the same and are not out there..A 4520 restored brought a record $60K + at Mecums.I would say they are about the same for value as they were but you are talking less than 5% of the late model 4020s.A nicely restored 4020 will bring the same as nice original after spending over $10K/$15K+ to redo it.I don't care if its a 20/30/40/55 series nice original and low houred sell quickly at a premium.
