John Deer M Rear Main Seal replacement....again

I rebuilt the motor on my John Deere M two summers ago. Crankshaft was taken out and turned down for new rod and main bearings. I replaced the rear main seal and the gasket behind it while I had the motor apart. It ended up leaking almost immediately after I got it running again. I have decided to split the tractor again to install a new seal and hopefully fix it.

My question for anyone who has done this before, is there something I missed or is there anything special I need to pay attention to in regards to replacing this seal? The seal does need to be pressed into a housing, is there anything important to keep in mind during that process? Any help I can get I would appreciate it. I would like to fix this for good and not repeat any mistakes.
