No 9 mower info needed

I need some measurements for the cutter bar
transport rod for a No9 mower I'm
rebuilding. I have a extra rod for an 8
mower that I can modify to work. I need to
know the lenth, how wide is the hook on the
mower end, and how long is the tail of the
hook. Thanks for the help.

Since you haven't gotten any replies, I'll post this...

I don't have any dimensions, but these two photos of what appears to be a shop-made rod should get you CLOSE (unless subject to inspection by "The Correct Police").

Thanks for the reply's, I've got the picture from the parts book from and can get close from that picture. With some measurements I can be exact.

The total length is 38", the hook end length is 6", the hook end radius is 2 1/2". Hope this helps. Mark
