I am putting two cast iron wheel weights on each rear wheel of my 720D. Will this give me close to the the same traction as if I put liquid weight in the tubes? What does each of those weights weight?

If these cast weights , weigh the same as a 55 gallon drum of calcium. They would give close to the same.
My guess if your using the correct J/D weight, you'll need more that two preside to get the same weight.
I know I can install the cast weights on our tractors easy, & there is No way I can pick up a full 55 gallon
drum. But it's close, I'd think..

Those weights are around 150 pounds I think.
Tire size would determine gallons of fluid.
Amount of calcium chloride per gallon affects weight.
Most people use alcohol these days. I don't know what
it weighs. Would guess 8-10 pounds.

Rear wheel weights similar to A3404R weigh about 150#s as D- stated. When installing weights 1st weight should be lined up with timing mark on outer edge of weight with timing mark on wheel then turn each succeeding weight 180 degrees.

No expert on this but just guessing it would take a lot more than 2 weights per side to make up for the lack of fluid, maybe 4-6 on each side.

The timing mark lines things up so you can get to the wheel adjusting pinion without removing the weights.
