I have a 2001 310 back hoe, having an issue with the parking brake/transmission.
When I turn the brake off and put the machine in gear, it still sounds the alarm and wont go into gear, as if the brake was still engaged. Sometimes it goes but soon after, it starts to ast up. I read this is a safety feature so you dont run it when the tranny fluid is low. I've checked the switch, fluid level, and tranny vent. these are the things I've read that could be the issue. So far no go. its my understanding that it is actuated by tranny pressure, has anyone came acrossed this problem or read of a fix?
