is there anyone out there that knows where i can get a power steering cylinder for a JD 4100 compact tractor without going to the dealer and giving them both arms and legs, either used or after market, any help would be appreciated.

If it is just leaking reseal it ?

you might try some of the late model tractor junk yards like Anderson Tractor in Bluffton Ohio ?

Holy cow one version is $ 557.73 and another is $ 842.00 parts picture is not real clear is that a welded together cylinder ? I cut the one apart on my F725 and got seals local and then had a good welder weld it back together.
Any hyd. repair shops in your area ?

well the piston rod is bent and has been for awhile and that caused the rod seal to leak a little, now the rod end tie rod has stripped out and falls out of the arm, so now in the process of chasing the threads on the stud side then get the newer size nut and go from there. Yes John Deere is very proud of that cylinder and after market has no help yet.thanks for the reply

It's not just those parts that are high. I have had the front end rebuilt on mine twice in the last 4 years at a cost of $3K each time.
