B model high oil pressure

I've got a B model that has high oil pressure, but only once it gets good and warmed up. At first crank, it's all normal. My first thought was a spin bearing for high pressure. But I feel like that would be constant and not only after running it for a while. Any thoughts?

(quoted from post at 08:50:03 05/30/18) Now that is really strange ? Have you tested it with a known good gauge ?

I have not. I'll need to get one. We were scratching our heads too.

I will add this to it... When I would 1st crank it up as stated before the old pressure was center gauge, medium. But once it warmed up and went to ha, I also started leaking oil from the flywheel. I did check the cork seal, and it's not completely gone but is old and coming apart a bit.

All that being said, the oil not leaking from the fly will until the pressure goes up, then leaking from the fly will makes me question other things than the gauge. But I do agree, a known good gauge is a good easy test.

Sounds like a pressure relief problem as you have read. I would first try adjusting the oil pressure with a known accurate gauge and see if that frees things up.
