This is my second post regarding the install of a rebuilt carb. Tractor starts however, both low and upper RPM range the engine fades as thou it will stall the governor increases the revs to keep it running. This goes back and forth. I have adjusted the linkage to no avail. Same results almost stalls then revs kick in via governor. I noticed when this occurs I can hear air being sucked through the oil bath ac. Also, tractor has no power sputters going up hill as though it needs gas. Checked the fuel line..all clear. I am at my wits end as this is my first older tractor and have limited experience trouble shooting. Will be glad to send pics and video if you can helpme. Tractor performed well before I had the carb rebuilt by Yesterday Tractor rebuilder in Ohio. Thank you. Ed H

If it worked well before having it rebuilt why did you have it rebuilt?? On these old tractors one thing you need to learn is if it isn't broke don't fix it or it will be for sure. So to me it sounds like they did a poor rebuild which can happen even to the best of us

I rebuild a lot of carb and have done so for decades and some just flat out need more TLC then others do. I have had to open them up 2 or 3 times to get them right and had one that I never got right. Then the one that never got right sat a long time and I used it for parts and it worked as it should once I mixed and matched part of it to others
