Hello all,
I have JD 2020, that just lost power steering. All other hydraulic systems work fine, brakes, 3 point hitch, loader etc. I'm aware that the seal goes bad in the power steering pump and hydraulic fluid ends
up in the crank case, but this is not the case, engine oil level is fine. anyone ever have the pump gears shear the shaft key? This is the only thing I can think that would cause this. Any help would be
appreciated. I would hate to go thru pulling the pump and find out it was something simpler to verify.
