720d fuel lines

Does anyone know a source for fuel lines on a 720 diesel?

I need the one from the return fitting in the injection pump cover to the fitting above the fuel bowl. And I need the line from the fuel bowl to the transfer pump.

My old ones are copper with compression fittings, and they're leaking. I can make new ones I guess if I can find the right fittings. But obviously premade is easier.

Tried Deere but the part numbers come up invalid, online at least.

It's AMAZING what can happen to a tractor over the years! Gotta wonder WHY the correct lines were lost and replaced with copper and fittings that don't match up.

The "glands", the little parts that are silver soldered to the steel lines at the ends were still available from DEERE, as well as the "nuts".

Probably some aftermarket availability, as well.

If the original fittings are still in place at the ends, it's not too tough to make new lines by silver soldering "glands" to steel tubing.

IIRC, this is 5/16" OD steel tubing, "gland" is part #E2150R, and "nut" is part #A2069R, still available from DEERE, gonna cost you about $30 an end, but armed with the info I've posted you can look for a better deal on-line.

Easy enough to do. The places where the line starts and ends is just pipe thread. I bought pipe thread to brake line adapters and used steel brake line and bent up new lines from it. Did this 33 years ago on my 720D

Thanks for the ideas. A boneyard called me back and says they have what I need. So fingers crossed. If this doesn't work I'll get the ends and make them I guess. I'm sick of the leaks!
