JD 435 Baler w/ net wrap

I have a JD 435 Baler with net wrap and the 1st gen Bale Trak system that has started acting up. The baler is failing to cut the net and the monitor is stuck on wrapped mode (Solid yellow light). I do not have any manuals at this time but was hoping someone can guide me to the answer.

Or if someone has any manuals they care to share that would be helpful as well.

Thank you

It's been yrs since I owned a 435 with netwrap & I can't remember it's idiosyncrasies of operation. Is fluid level in twine pump at the full mark? Do you know how long it's been since hyd filter for pump was changed? I will suggest to open up flow control valves that are associated with the net & see if it will cycle.

Are you aware that the electrical switches have no bearing on operation on system just notify operator of what's happening on attachment?

You REALLY need to acquire a tech &/or manual for the surface wrap shown below. 800-522-7448

Thanks for the reply. I am not using the twine wrap so I wasn't worried about the pump. But it does indicate full. I baled 30 plus bales perfect but then wouldn't cut 2 or 3 bales and then repeat. I am guessing something is not resetting just not sure.

I am gonna order a manual today most likely. Thanks again for your reply.

Netwrap utilizes hyd pump to activate small hyd cylinders in net attachment so correct hyd pump operation is important when applying net to bale similar to twine.

The hydraulic pump also runs the mesh wrap not just the twine. The Monitor on your baler does not control anything. It tells you what the baler is doing not telling the baler to do anything. LOL The light showing that the baler is applying mesh is telling you the baler has not completed the wrap cycle and has an issue. You need to look into some things to give us more information on what is your problem. It could be twenty different things. Belt broke on the pump, spring broke on the thightener linkage, etc. So do some investigating and report back.

Perfect. Going to change the filter and go from there. I'm guessing since it takes hydraulic pressure to cut the string as I am figuring this out that it may be filter, pump or air in lines. My thought process was if the light wasn't going out and the net was not cutting that it may help me isolate the problem area.

I will report back after some hydraulic troubleshooting. Thank you for the reply.
