First of all, thank you to all of you here on the Forum who helped me solve the problem of antifreeze leaking into oil. Yes, the head gasket was bad!
So, now,
1) does anyone know of the sequence to torque the head bolts when I replace the gasket?
2) Also, what poundage do I torque the bolts?
As before, I will really appreciate any help I can get on this. Jerry

Be sure to premix your antifreeze. People like to tell you these heads are weak. They aren't. Operators that don't understand the Thermosiphon cooling system is what cracks them.

If i had head gasket problems, I would take (have always) taken the head into a reputable machine shop and check and or have it straighten if needed.

Just a thought. Why get into a crap shoot mode.
