morning: The neighbor arrived for the summer and decided last summers brush mowwer damage should be fixed...ok but he removed the front
end loader also last summer...and ran it all summer
Since then the 3pt hitch arms have a constant, small and very quick vertical jerk motion, once a height position is chosen, also a noise
is heard from the interior somewhere, no clunks or bangs but a sound that goes away when the 3pt is moving., and comes back after the lift
position is settled in about 30 seconds.
The "shimmy" is barely visible at the tractor side, but 8 ft out the tail wheel moves about an inch.
I suspect the 1840 loader control valve, had a oil flow thru design from hyd pump and back to reservoir, and now that he has taken the
whole assembly off, the supply line connection is dead ended.
It's not a JD loader, and i was told that JD uses's a "closed" center on their hyd systems. which would be mean the control supply line is already closed off?
Am i going in the right direction, or has a safety valve failed internally? or the valve is working right but shouldn't be?
tks
