JD model B front wheel wobble

I have been restoring a 51 JD B. I just took it out for a test drive and everything seemed to work fine except for a few minor adjustments. My problem though is that I have a front tire wobble? It didn't do it before I started restoring it. I see a little play in the steering worm gear and the bushing. Would this be the cause and if so, how do I fix this problem. I don't believe its any worn bushing because, As I mentioned earlier, I don't remember having this problem before restoration.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Jeff

Front tire pressure even between the two tires? Steering shaft yoke tight and woodruff key also snug and not worn?

Remove the plate on top of the pedestal. There is a eccentric steering bushing located there. Looking down, you will see a screw, loosen or remove that screw and adjust the eccentric bushing in top of the pedestal by turning it.

Thanks, The tire pressure is equal. Not sure what the woodruff key is?
I will remove the screw and tighten the eccentric bushing

Thanks a lot, first time here in years since I restored a Model A.

Here's an illustration of what Mark-IA was describing. In addition, if necessary, remove some shims at the steering worm bearing housing to make sure there is no axial movement of the steering shaft and worm. And when rotating the eccentric bushing to remove the backlash between the worm and sector gear, make sure to rotate the steering wheel full left and full right to make sure there's no binding. Unfortunately, since the tractor spent most of its life going pretty much straight ahead, the worm and sector gear wear the most in that position and when removing the backlash with the eccentric bushing, those two gears can bind up when the steering is turned away from center.

Thanks, This diagram helps a lot. I'll let you know how I make out. I have been using the diagram in the parts catalogue but sometimes they are hard to read

Thanks again.

Deereman...Jack the front of the tractor up 'til the front wheels are off the ground, then from the seat push and pull the steering wheel,
if the front wheels move while pushing and pulling you likely have a bearing fallen out of place. It's not uncommon for one of the tapered
bearings to fall out of place during assembly after having the steering shaft removed, usually the rear bearing. That would explain why your B
didn't have front wheel wobble before, and does now. The bearings on the steering shaft need very heavy grease to keep them in place during
reassemble.

OK Thanks. I did adjust the eccentric bearing as mentioned above. There still seems to be some play however I never tried it yet as there is a few other things I want to do to it before I take it out of the garage. I will also try what Larry mentioned. Hopefully that might be it as well. I'll keep you posted.
Again thanks for the help.
I have also posted a post on the carburetor above???
