Hello fellas, just picked up a gas John Deere 2510 narrow front synchro tractor. It?s in pretty decent shape but needs some odds and ends. It has a cast iron carb and was wondering if someone can point me in the right direction on what the base settings are for the carb screws. It runs pretty good but when it gets under a load i can tell it?s not set properly. I also have not picked up a book yet I have seen there is a $40 dollar one that covers many models and then a $100 jd service manual can anyone chime in what book is best.
This thing also has a line going to a inline filter, then transfer pump then around to carb is this normal ? Seems like a long run for fuel line.
