How she going ?
I just got signed up with this board and didn't have much luck with the search . That being said , id like to introduce myself . Im a city boy living in the sticks for 11 years or so , raise 2 kids here , have way to-many outdoor cats and a dog that bites anything that gets close to her feed bowl .

Ya ......and my 4020 suddenly will raise the boom ( will not fall ) , do nothing with the bucket and thats about it . Shes loaded with hyd. fluid , shifts and moves great from gear to gear . I have not yet broke out the pressure gauges , figured it would be a return problem or something simple .

any thoughts fellas ?

Do you have 2 hoses feeding a joy stick or 2 spool valve? Or do you run separate hoses from 2hyd boxes? Sounds like it could be as simple as the return hose it's not properly attached in the hyd bix

Does loader hyd control valve have any breakaway couplers involved with it? If so disconnect/reconnect each set. If utilizing rear scv breakaway couplers be sure oil control lever on the underside of housing is aimed 90° from fitting/hose.
