Mark-Ia, I can't thank you enough for the tip on getting a Indian motorcycle black foam float. I put it in this afternoon and turned the gas on and watched carb venturi for leak thru. No gas leaking! (I had purchased a new brass float last year and it was never right.) Then I put the pipe to air cleaner on and choked it, two turns and it was running 
I had to adjust the idle mix up some, and the load screw up a little to. Drove it up and down the drive way, varied the throttle and gears, seemed to run well!
Is there a way to fine tune the GP that works best, or just wait till I put it under load and work it to fine tune it?
This GP with the new sleeves and rings sure turns over hard for this old guy, it's nice to have it start easy, a couple turns and run is very nice.
