I just was offered a 1945 g m that sat in a barn for ten years. tractor is complete but there is a little moister in the cylinders. I believe it has antifreeze in it or has a bad head gasket. Wants 500.00 for it seems like a good buy? thanks p s I already have a 49 g so will fix to resell

I?d say it?s a good buy/. I had to pay three times that much for a 1946 GM. It was an outside tractor but all it took was a magneto and carb overhaul to get it running. It has the JD after market hydraulic pump on it. The GM is more valuable the your 49? G.
