322 creeping

I have acquired an early serial numbered 322 with the 3 cyl gas Yanmar engine. Trouble is the tractor wants to creep forward with the lever in neutral. Ease the lever toward reverse and it stops, but will begin to creep again in a few seconds. There must be an adjustment somewhere.

I have adjusted similar problems on another brand of tractor, it should be simple to figure out, but if the linkage is worn it might be hard to get it to stay stopped in neutral.

There's a half-dozen pages in the OEM shop manual detailing the "return to neutral" adjustment do to production changes, too much to repeat here.

Do a web search for "WFM TM1591" and you'll find a downloadable free .pdf version of the manual.

Download it and look at Pages 250-15-9 thru 250-15-16.
