noise in front front area of 2240

I have a noise in the front area of my 2240 when its idleing and when when you turn it off, the bearing is loose on the water pump so I'm going to change it out but I'm not sure it's the culprit here, the steering and hydraulics work very good so I don't think it's the pump, someone thought it might be the coupler bushings but I'll check those too, any suggestions?

With engine shut off you should have NO WIGGLE at all when you grab a fan blade and check for water pump bearing failure. Any play and it is time for a water pump repair or replace. Many will not leak either. I had one that the guy thought his engine was going to blow up. When sitting in the seat it was REALLY loud ! Lucky I checked the water pump bearing first. I also could not believe how loud it was in the seat.

this noise is very loud it's sounds like rubbing or almost grinding when it's at idle or shutting engine off when you rev up engine it stops

Just got my tractor tore apart and the water pump is
rough as a Cobb the coupler bolted to the pump is
tight and the 2 half coupler with the plastic bushings
are tight, so is there any other thing I need to look at
while I have this apart? Oh yea I'm replacing the
alternator belt too, all hoses, clamps and thermostat
, I thank you guys for all of you support and advise

Many times I change those coupler bushings out while I have the Rad. out doing the water pump. At least I think most have to have the rad. out to do the pump but it has been a long time too.
