John Deere 730 diesel

(quoted from post at 07:41:02 05/04/18)
Should be in the tractor service manual and the fuel system service manual . ?

I looked in my book and found torque specs for head and cam bushings but nothing mentioned about rocker assembly or injectors. Thanks

John Deere never was good about having many torque specs. on the 2cyl. machines. I don't have my books here to look in ,but I thought the injector nut had a torque listed ?

The crow foot that holds the nozzle in gets torqued to 50ft lbs with a new copper washer under it. The cylinder head bolts get torqued to 275ft lbs and should be retorqued after engine is hot.
The service manual does not show a torque for the rocker assembly maybe just use a general torque guide for that size hardware. Hope this helps.

Thanks chasing deere. I ended up torqueing the injector hold downs to 60 lbs and the rocker arm assembly to 50 lbs. Still putting it back together and havnt started it yet to get it hot. If you think this is to hot I can readjust them. Thanks
