Hyd seals leaking after loader work 4430

Have an older 4430 with 158 loader on it
Have been doing a lot of loader work Manure
Dirt , gravel and moving logs . Clean up work

Blowing seals from time to time
Last month both remotes had one go out on different days
, I had minor leak on front pump , became major
Replaced it .
After a week have major leak at clutch .
Need to split I believe now !
Why are all the blowing out. ??
Too much loader work ?
I did measure clutch psi , it?s at 165
Puzzled

You can blow seals by running fast with bucket tipped and catching bucket on edges, puts excess force on cylinders.

Might take it a little easier.

A 4430 has a "wet" clutch and doesn't just randomly leak "at the clutch".

If, in fact you actually have oil leaking in the area between the engine and the clutch housing the first thing I'd suspect is that a "wrench" has been in there and didn't clean up the gasket areas well, or didn't ralph on the bolts connecting the front and back of the tractor enough.

"Why are all the blowing out. ??"

Replying honestly, the a 4430 is a good machine, and tough as 'ell.

If you are having all those issues, you either bought it from an unscrupulous jockey who concealed the fact it's had a tough previous life, or are one of those guys that could break an anvil with a rubber mallet. Just SAY'IN!

Is this quad range or power shift? Quad has a wet clutch while power shift has a dry torsional damper in the flywheel. Quad range would have to be a gasket or pipe leaking, try to determine where it is leaking from. Power shift could have an oil leak into the flywheel housing from the trans pump area and there is a drain hole for it to get out of the housing.

It could be a power shift,,a seal leaking could be letting oil come out of the little hole in the bottom of the clutch housing...

yeah its a 4430 with quad raange transmission.
its leaking between engine and clutch housing .
A lot hyd fluid leaked out just parked overnight .

thanks

Robert

If the wet Perma-Clutch area is suddenly leaking after heavy loader use, I would check for bolts that have worked loose or maybe a cracked clutch housing before using the tractor hard again. Also check if the leak is coming from some place higher and oil is dripping down on the clutch housing.

That was it , 4 bottom bolts worked there way loose. Didn't look loose but they were

Thank you all the the replies and the help on this one.
