Hello, I have recently purchased a JD 2155 that did not come with a factory hydraulic scv. I would like to add one. Does anyone know of a kit available with everything needed, from what I understand these same parts were used on many different models. If a kit is not available, would anyone know what parts/part numbers I would need in order to add factory rear scvs. As an alternative would adding a closed center spool valve be easier? If so what all is involved with going that route?

I don't have access to the whole goods number for the scv but any used scv will fit for 20-55 series JD utility tractors. Highlight this number(RE22584) then right click mouse on it will give you some prices. Yes another option one could install a spool valve similar to when a frt end loader is installed. There is no real cheap method to add SCV's

There is a free parts book on the Jd web site . At one time it would cross reference common parts across all the models .
Just find a parts tractor and swap everything .
What hydraulic loads are you planning on using ? The application may require the SCV return like to the ported filter cover instead of straight into the transmission case .
Or if installing a loader , you don’t want to use the SCV at all .
