GP oil seal behind flywheel

Does the GP (1931 big bore) have a cork seal behind the flywheel like the other JD's. Getting small specks of oil on floor and air stack and
hood. Seems to be coming from around the crankshaft behind the flywheel. Thanks for your help.

I'm NOT a "GP" expert, but I did look in the parts catalog and it looks like the same flywheel spacer was used through the production run, C138R, and I don't see a cork seal listed with it. Didn't look CLOSELY at all the gasket pages, but didn't see one there, either, but may have missing it.

Take a look at .pdf Pages 13 and 68. (Paper Pages 3 and 58.)

There is no cork seal in the oil slinger on GP's. On mine I used a light layer of high temperature rubber silicone to seal the slinger to the crankshaft.

Cork Groth at Tractor Trauma Center will machine your oil slinger for a o-ring to act as a seal. works Great.563-285-7009

Thanks guys for the info on the oil seal. I will give Cork a call and see when I can send the oil slinger to him. May try the silicone first just depends on how hard it is to get the flywheel off. Thanks for your help.
