Has made a visit . Brought me a new muffler and extension assembly for my 3020 a new air filter for the 3020 and a oil filter for the buck . I?ve got 30 acres to run the lely over this Sunday so that new muffler and extension will sure make the job more enjoyable .

The muffler was 10 dollars more than the generic Stanley at bomgarrs I was going to buy it but if you hold the muffler up and look through it the Stanley is nothing more than a shell with a few baffles in it I was going to buy it but it got quite a few bad reviews on the sound from the guys on this site on tractors of all makes . The extension kit cost almost as much as the muffler I could have gone a lot cheaper route on that but I thought I?d go factory on it . Filters were as cheap as napa the last filter I got for the four wheeler at the skidoo place was more than from John Deere and now the local ski doo is gone anyway total bill was 168$ no freight on anything .

Money was tight a few years ago and I put a Stanley muffler on my 4010. I've regretted it since. Sounds like the tractor is running through a beer can instead of a muffler. It's still in excellent shape so I haven't justified replacing it, YET. When it comes to filters I've found genuine jd isn't much more than any others. I have all the filters and oil ready for my Buck but haven't got it done yet. I need to look into how to have parts delivered. My dealership is 30 miles away.

My dealership is 90 miles away . I have one that?s a lot closer but I like this one a lot better there prices are 15% less on everything and they stock a lot more parts than stooge . They are both mega dealers now but rmh sure beats stooge . The last time I serviced the buck has been at least ten years and I put John Deere 0w 40 full synthetic in it

Sounds very familiar here to. I'd have to drive around 75 miles or so to get away from the local chain. Problem is they are just as bad. I also run the 0W-40 synthetic. I just bought a case a week ago. That's what it's run since new. I'm still a believer in changing the oil, filters, and plugs every year. Even if it only got ran a couple times last year. I need to keep an eye out for new tires though.
