Hello Im new to this forum! Any help would be appriciated!I have a 1979 jd2640 with new magnafluxed block and complete rebuild. Also has a magnafluxed head and a new used oil cooler and im getting coolant in oil!Any help would be greatly appriciated

Hey Cmk1923,
Not sure what you're asking. You say in your heading your getting oil in the coolant, but in your question you say your getting coolant in the oil. Kinda of a big difference. Different causes.

. How proud were the sleeves above the block? Were new head bolts used and the block threads chased . Who did the work ?

CMK1923,
My guess is you cut the "O" rings on the sleeves. Best pull the pan down and take look up where the sleeve protrudes out of the block. You should be able to see which one it is. Not likely a head gasket. If it didn't do this before you rebuilt it a crack is very unlikely. Sitting overnight and leaking is almost always a leaking sleeve liner. Good Luck!
