So working with a museum and they have a H today had been given lipstick to at some point. They are having problems starting, so asked for my help. Since they don't even have oil in the air filter, that's pretty obvious they need it...
They have already torn the mag apart to replace parts..... It'll be interesting to see what they have decided since we know testing is the best way before parts changing.
I was looking at the carb and it has it's fair share of issues as well. It drips fuel with the fuel bowl turned off. Obviously, fuel bowl leaks and needle leaks. I went to check the idle/load screw settings and noticed that the little balls that are supposed to hold the settings are gone. What is the best way to fix this? Obviously it needs to be fixed as whatever setting you set won't stay from engine vibrations.
Thanks.
