I have no tail wheel but have other blade to keep from pulling to the left.

What did Deere build it to be pulled with?

If you're asking about Surflex tiller it appears '49 was the beginning build date. Local dairyman in mid 60's had 3 JD R's pulling three 21 disk surflex plows. I plowed many acres in my youth with a JD 3010 & 14 disk surflex.

Thanks for that photo of the parts manual.
Nice to finally know the legit factory name of that contraption we always called a one way, because you should only turn one way (left) with it or it tends to crawl up the right rear tire trying to land on the operator.
