First let me say I'm a ford guy so don't know much about the john deere. Went to look at a ford on a farm yesterday in NJ.The guys father died a couple of years ago. He was a mechanic and he rebuilt the
ford engine. He has two other tractors in the barn he would like to sell. One a john Deere A and the oliver. They appear to be in pretty good shape. I'm sure he can get it running before sale so do you
guys have a ballpark on a price and maybe a year?

Hi Kirk,
Your picture is a little fuzzy but it appears to be a single shift lever A, with decent tires and looks pretty straight, which would put it around 1950 to 1952. In your location in running condition and dependent on a lot of other factors it would bring 2-3 thousand. Not running and bad tranny or other issues it could go from $500 to $800. Good Luck!

That tractor in good mechanical condition would be worth 1500-2000 dollars here. If it needed a bunch of work then 500-600 dollars.

'51 or '52. Unless you can start it and drive it around to listen for internal noises.....$ 1200 max. If it starts and drives nice w/no bad noises. $ 1800 - $ 2200.
