5055e fuel filter question

Has anyone changed the fuel filter on this tractor? Book does not show any fuel line cutoff. Tank is above filter. I don't know any way to change
it other than spinning the old one off and putting the new one on with fuel running out.

clamp the rubber hose? If there is no cutoff, I'd be finding a good spot and installing a valve for future situations.

It looks like a straight hose to the filter assembly with no valve, from what I saw. Either clamp the hose or try a shop vac holding a vacuum on the fuel tank- it may keep the fuel in the lines/tank long enough to change the filter.

That's right Jim. Mine doesn't but the cab model does, I think, and maybe others. Go figure! I just ordered a cutoff valve for it.

As below. Might be a good idea to invest in a 'needle nosed' vice grip, pinch off the fuel line and proceed,. HTH
