What wheels/tires?

I attended a plow day about 20 tears ago near Evansville, IN and snapped this photo as the guy was leaving.
Didn?t get to ask questions. Looks like wider rims to accommodate wider tires on his JD A; Any help please.

The rims could have been homemade but also could have been manufactured. It's not uncommon for pullers to weld double bevel rims such as these to a nine-bolt center. I have seen factory made rims with this setup, however, they are not very common. The rim would have been used originally as a dual. Mike

Most likely the rims have been split with a spacer welded in. If you look closely at the rear wheel of my G in the photo you can see where a 2" spacer has been welded in for the 15.5 x 38 tires.
