I warm them up in a cup of hot water and then spray the inside with silicone spray. Then they usually slide on pretty easily.

I can see how warming & lubricating the boots will help but you'll have to forgive my ignorance. Can you elaborate on how you actually pull the boots over the pedals? Especially the clutch pedal since it's shaped like a "T"........

How do you stretch them enough to fit without tearing them? Fingers? Tools? Shoehorn? LOL

Well, I finally got around to installing the boots.

After smoothing all of the sharp edges on the pedals with a die grinder & lubing them with grease, soaking the boots in hot water, and then spraying the inside of the boots with silicone spray I was able to pull the boots on without damaging them.

I was reluctant to get rough with the boots initially but after seeing how pliable(stretchy) they are I realize installation is no big deal.

Thanks to all for their suggestions!
