Over on the combine forum 1206SWMO posted a link to a Purple Wave auction that took place last week. Some really nice older combines sold real reasonable. They were not the best "deal" on the auction. In the one picture there was a JD 205 corn header with the snouts off of it and a bunch of other stuff. Just looked like a junk pile of old combine related parts. I just clicked on it to look at the old header. I got to jumping around and found the pictures of the other pallets. On one of the pallets is the majority of a JD 801 hitch. The entire pile only brought $71. I hope a scrapper did not get the pile and junks an almost new looking hitch.
This was from the Colby Ks. Community college. They also had a cherry White 7300 that sold for $1400 IRC.
This is not a pile of stuff you would expect a JD two cylinder hitch to be in.
