Looking for this part# R20635 oil pressure gauge pipe with fittings. Part NLA from JD, not a surprise! Found online at $68 to over $90. What have others done to replace this part that could be less costly? Thanks as always for the help!

Could you substitute some brake line? Seems any tubing of the proper diameter could be used.

IIRC, the "nuts" on the line would look like the one at the left in the photo?

If so, they are still available at a "real" autoparts store, or on-line. I can find some part numbers, if that's the style you need and have trouble finding them.

Combine a couple of them with some 1/8"(?) steel line and you'll have a cheap and "correct" looking fix.

Found some part numbers before I posted the above...

Where the threads are is normal pipe thread so other fittings can easily be used that cost less.

I dunno about that... a checked with a local autoparts store and they had two of the Edelman 111200 nuts on hand @ $1.05 each!

Can't change to a different style of fittings for $2.10!!!

Had them set them aside for me, I'm gonna pick 'em up next time I'm there and hide 'em away in my brass fittings cabinet!

I go to my local plumbing store (family owned experienced plumbers) and get these furelled (sp) nuts. Then use them with 3/16 copper tubing, neither are expensive .

Thanks for all of the helpful posts! I have been to every auto parts store in the area (Spartanburg,SC) and struck out. The closest that I have come is at the NAPA store where the sales desk fellow did recognize the fittings as those used in gauges for cars/trucks/implements prior to the electronic era. I've received nuts that I thought would work from McMaster-Carr, but no go, seems the thread is not the same. In looking at the Edelmann Part No. 112320 that looks to be the answer as the tube is 3/16" and is the one for the fuel shut off fitting. Any suggestion on a good on-line source would be very much appreciated. This is the last part needed to get the old girl running once again. Thanks again, Ed

So you need the 3/16" line nut X 1/8" MPT fitting, don't need the nuts that go on the line?

There's quite a few of the Edelmann Part No. 112320 fittings on ebay starting at $6.55 shipped.

I MAY have one, I'll look tomorrow.

Bob, Thanks! I just looked at the nut again and that?s not what I am looking for. I?m going to try and post pictures
below. Should have done that from the start. The size of the line is 3/16? but think the threads must be 1/8??My mind must not have been working!

If the correct adapter fitting is in place in the fuel shut off, and you are working with 3/16" line I would think you need the Edelman 111300 "nut" from the chart in my other post.

NOT sure what the threads are on the "nut", but if you have the correct fitting installed in the fuel shutoff and it's not damaged it's internal threads are gonna match that nut.

Shutoff has 1/8" pipe threads, adapter screws in those, and is made to accept that compression "nut" and make a tight seal.

If you are in ripping around on the oil pressure line . This is the time to route a pressure lube line line to the hydraulic pump idler shaft .

Bob, Yes, the correct fitting is on the oil pressure shut off on
the fuel bowl. The nut that I purchased from McMaster Carr
is just like the one you refer to, but the threaded end of the
3/16? nut is too large. I will try and buy this nut and hopefully it
will work. The old one in the picture had a ferrule in addition to
the nut. Thanks! Ed

I wanted to let all of you good people who have answered my inquiry to know that I have finally resorted to ordering the complete line with nuts from New Paris Tractor. ( It will be taken from a donor tractor). In talking with them they confirmed that the nut I have been looking for is all but impossible to find as it was a special nut that John Deere used at that fuel bowl Oil pressure shut off. Hope this helps someone else who may spend hours hunting something that does not exist. As for me, if I have to fool with this sediment bowl again, I will remove it and replace it with one without the oil pressure shut off! Thanks to everyone for your help! Kindly, Ed
