John Deere b crankshaft casting numbers

Just wondering if anyone could tell me what crankshafts will fit the one that came out is shot it's a b1848r will a b1847r work ? It's a 1946 b

Would be a good time to consider raising the compression or installing a Crankshaft with a longer stroke..

Could a crank from a Late Styled "B" fit.?..

I'm not sure what crankshafts will fit if they are all pretty much universal I would buy whatever is redily available to me but I don't want to buy a crankshaft and find out it won't fit
