Guys, as a follow up to my post two years ago we
finally have gotten around to split the tractor to get
top tranny shaft removed as do believe after review
the low side pinion gear on top shaft is ceased to
shaft and needs to be repaired.
Issue I'm having now on disassembly or removal of
top shaft is we are struggling to get the top shaft
actually out. Meaning it is loose and ready to pull
out (can tilt it all around now) but the rear bearing
seems to be barely catching the rear lower gear
below it preventing it from coming forward and out
past it. Tranny pump and everything is removed
from shaft. Very frustrating. Any ideas of how to get
shaft removed at this point? We've done everything
the book has identified.
