Planting with an MT

Has anyone ever planted with an MT? I was wondering because the front wheels are offset from the center of the hood. Would putting something on the hood just to the right of the center of the hood that lines up with the front wheels help you follow the marker lines? Thanks for any replies, Mark.

This is the story I choose to believe:

The chassis is "centered" - the engine, etc are offset 3" so that you get a better view of the
row crop when cultivating. Unless you are left-eyed ..................

Yeah they are offset to see better I have a two row belly mount lister planter for MT my dad planted a lot with it

The TOM arms are centered in the tractor so if you are pulling from the center point of the arm you would be planting straight. At one point I was planting pumpkins in hills with my MT. I would take two rolling disks or bat wings and make the hill using the cultivators. I then rigged up a Cole MX-12 planted under using u-bolts and the TOM. With the MX-12 unit centered on the rear hitch it planted down the middle of the tractor. The hill I had made was always on my left front while planting. It worked out fine for me. I guess it would really depend on what you are planting and how much. I only did about 3/4 of an acre like that.
