This is off a 41 A can someone tell me where to find a bail and jar.
Jar is appox. 3" Diameter. Photos are a little blurry I have
cataracts. Also this 41 has a hyd. 3 point lift with plug ins for hyd
hoses. Would the 3 pt and Hyds increase the value? Has a 2 bot JD 60 plow. Runs and
starts good no smoke. what should I ask for it?

I would say any canning jar with the right neck
size would work even a plastic one.
You could use all-thread rod to hold it on.

It was on the A 15 yrs ago when I bought it it is a aftermarket and its going back on, but as you say its not a Deere part.

You need a wide mouth mason jar, pint or half pint, seen them both ways. They come in two types, standard and wide mouth, standard is about 2 1/2" and wide mouth is 3".

Good for you for putting an aftermarket part back on, makes for a more interesting display at a show. Personally I like seeing the variety of aftermarket parts, tractors in their working clothes and other things that preserve how these machines really looked a lot of the time. Farmers didn't care a lot about maintaining factory correct appearance and if the goal is to preserve the history of these tractors, that needs to be done as well.
