Engine Run Relay

Have a JD 4600 and the Y2 Fuel Shutoff Solenoid is not being pulled in. Measured all wires with key switch ON but no 12VDC. On the schematic I have, the 12VDC comes from K4 Engine Run Relay and I am trying to find where this relay is located. Does anyone have a picture of the relay layout with description or K#. I believe we should have 12VDC going to the solenoid with key switch ON. Thanks in advance.

Yes, I know where they are located but wanted to see a layout of which relay is which. There about 4-5 relays there. Thanks!

Also the Fuel Shutoff Solenoid has 3 wires of which 1 goes to Engine Run Relay for 12VDC, 1 goes to GND and the 3rd wire goes to K3 Fuel Shutoff Relay which has R2 Variable Thermistor in its circuit. What is this for and can you bypass the relay. thanks!

Pull all the relays and back feed battery voltage w/jumper wire from pump solenoid wire while probing relay female sockets to find start relay location. When U locate start relay location, install relay enough that U can probe terminals w/test light to diag prob. (before relay fully seated) Not sure on Deere but looking from top at socket LH spade from key sw, RH spade grnd, top Bat hot, bottom Bat hot w/key on.

K 3 is the fuel shut off relay according to "jd 4600 manual fuse box diagram" that I googled. Take a look and see if it is right for your tractor..

The thermistor gives a surge of current to pull in the solenoid then heats up and drops out. You can short the leads to get the solenoid to pull in then remove the short after it starts. Common failure on these tractors. You can get new thermistors from mouser, digikey, etc. It is stuffed in the wire harness behind the relay panel. I also had the diode block go bad once. Looks like a relay. I was able to reflow the connections to the diodes inside of the block.
