Will tracks from a John Deere 1010 fit on John Deere 40 C. Thanks

The pitch is the same, but the bushing diameter is larger and you will either need very worn sprockets or the sprockets from a 420/430. Many long years ago, Deere had a program to replace the two bolt pad tracks on 1010s with the new 4 bolt type and there were lots of sets of two bolt tracks around. I picked up a set and ran them on a 40C. The sprockets were worn enough that the bushings fit. Not the right way, but it worked and I ran the machine for 25 years that way.
