2130 Steel Hydraulic Line Replacement - Fitting Question

Greetings YT Members! This is my first post.

I have a 2130 and I need to replace the hard return hydraulic line that goes from the transmission to the pump.

I was shying away from brazing the line because it takes alot of work to get the line off the tractor. I would hate to put it all
back together and it still leak or leak at a later time. I am thinking of getting the tools and materials to make a new line but I
am unsure how the 'push in' fitting that attaches to the transmission is put on the line, does anybody have experience? It looks
like a bushing is brazed on the line.

If the pic works or the URL it is the line to the left of the blue arrow in Charles Branch's photo.

If its the line I think it is its around $150 Canadian. Brazing hydraulic line is not a favourite pastime for me:)

I checked at JD parts and it says
The part AL28958 is no longer available. Contact your local John Deere dealer for other options.

Our House of Hose company in Spokane will make metal lines like that, they did one for me that I couldn't get from John Deere. Maybe a hydraulic hose builder in your area could do the same.

Thanks David. I may end up doing that, I do have a large hydraulic shop near me that has built rubber hoses for me before.

Does anybody know about the connector to the trans, is that common or more of a specialty fitting?

Thought you said it was to the left of the arrow in the pic. That one is available, the other one that shows as non
available should be checked by the dealer through the vintage parts option.

The line is the one to the left of the arrow, the other line on the right goes into a rubber hose on the bottom of the hydraulic cooler, this line threads into the pump.

Maybe your right, all that I checked was the JD parts web site. Here in the city that I live in I only have a Lawn and Garden JD dealer that does not specialize in Ag parts. I just usually order parts through JD parts and pick up at the local dealer. Maybe I should call an Ag dealer and give them the part number to see if they can get it.

I think they just push in, pull out, nothing special. Have to take it out to split the tractor for clutch repair. You should be able to cut out the bad section and fit some sort of coupler there to reconnect it.
