30-40 series hyd valve price?

I recently bought some parts and got a brand new rear hyd. remote valve for a 30 or 40 series tractor (4430-4440). This valve has never been mounted on a tractor and is not even painted. What is it worth? I see rebuilt ones on Ebay for over $1000. I do not do much with the newer tractors so I am not sure what to price it at. Thanks Tom

New $1459.55 so I guess pricing at $1000 would be OK.

I bought a rebuilt hydraulic valve about 5 years ago. This valve was the 3rd hydraulic valve for a 30-40 series tractor and included the lever in the cab and the linkage necessary to add on to the tractor. I know it was more than $1000, but I not believe it exceeded $1200.

My dealer just gave me that price. Deere has one left but if you look at all the notes my dealer does not think that includes the insides of the lower couplers. The levers are not in the pics and there are a bunch of notes about buying an additional kit. I was thinking about $1000 and was surprised that Deere was not priced higher than it was. Tom

I usually sell the complete kit to add the third valve which includes the double plate,lever and linkage for $1200.I like the 50/55 series box better as they are already set up for ISO ends and don't seem to be as troublesome.I didn't realize JD actually offered a fourth remote set up for 50/55 until I got a tractor with that set up.
