Deere 2020 dual weight stacks and factory seat

The JDParts site is showing a metallic plate to be put between the frame and the front weight support to stack 2 weights, either of the wide #85 4020 types or the more "European one" with a hole in them.
I have surely never seen one like that, but I have start to accumulate parts to restore the 2020 Hilo I have into an american version HU tractor, with 12/38 tires, clamshell fenders, bar axles. I think it will look great but I still wants something so it looks unusual.

Second, I can find new aftermarket seat cushions for that tractor. However, mine had a complete aftermarket seat on it, and I cannot find anywhere a complete original seat. It seems that JD has only the grammer seat for the 2020/2640. But the factory JD seat looks so much nicer.
Should I try to put a 4020 seat with a suspension from a chopper (I have one from my other projects)? That will not look factory, but could be pretty cool if I can fab up a side console for it.

As I remember the 4020 cushioned seat was available on a 2020.
The original 2020 seat was much better than the Grammar seats.

My literature shows 3 different seat options. I have the cushioned seat (mid priced option) for my 1020 although it is
off the tractor at the moment with the aftermarket Grammer seat installed. I have not seen to my recollection the
base plate for the slab type weights. The original advertising brochure doesn't have a good view of the weight set
up. Side console? That would be different.

I have seen that plate. Used to have one but don't
know what happened to it.

At one time Dad had some of the metal brackets that go on the front slab to make a double stack weight like you are referring to. The front slab is made with a recess in it for the plate to fit on. The last place I remember seeing the brackets was laying on a rock ledge in Dad's pasture. More than likely they went to scrap or the earth has swallowed them up by now. Tom

This type is the deluxe seat frame bracket that I remember for Dubuque tractors. Is this bracket the type you're referring to?

Have you checked these seat cushions from JD?

YEs TxJim, that is what I am looking at. I have an aftermarket Grammer seat copy and I want to convert to the deluxe seat.
The best thing is probably to go trough many salvage yards and get an original base and use it as a model if torn down.

Thank you for the inputs about the weights. I think that I can make one, or another option is to use a double stack thin plate that I have. It goes in place of a weight, but I do not know the PN and have never seen it in parts book.
It is shown in this movie, about mid time, so it has to be JD:

I have been looking for a decent used seat just like you are for my 1020. The grammer style seat no matter how I adjust the thing it feels funny. It always feels like I am going to slide forward off of it.

I did not found the parts yet. But I found a picture of a tractor in USA with it. The plate is not very thick. Probably more to help holding the upper one in place rather than really carrying the weight. Nothing fancy about it. Should be easy to fab up.

That tractor also had the original seat. Only drawback is that this one is a RCU, mine is an HU and looks nicer (in my opinion).
