My JD 60 has the three point lever on the right side of the seat. My 50 has it on the left. When plowing snow with a box scraper and my 50, I got used to running the throttle with my right arm and the three point with my left - steering with whatever arm was free at the time. My neighbor's JD 60 has the lever on the right hand side. Which is normal? My right arm has too much to do.
My 60 is an early model and his is a late model. Did they change sides? Today I bought another lever from a junk yard. I am going to try to mount it on the left and will end up having a lever on both sides. What do you think?
