John deere 4650 transmission problem

Hi guys,
I'm new here but I have a question about a john deere 4650 powershift which I am looking to buy.
I come from the netherlands and there is this john deere 4650 for sale. However this tractor has an issue. When it fires up the engine runs very smooth but it also moving even when in park. It seems to shift into al gears ok but when in higher gears the tractor the engine can't keep up, because the gear is to high to start driving? There are no major leaks that I saw. Only the axle to the mfwd leaks a bit. I would like to buy this tractor and restore it, but I'm not sure what the problem is. Do you guys have any idea what it could be and what it would cost to repair?
Thanks in advance
Erik

Sounds as if trans isn't engaging in park. When you state "engine can't keep up" does engagement in higher gears cause engine to stop running?

If it is rocking just a bit in park (forward and back, especially if the oil is cold) that is normal for those. As for your second question, I'm not sure what you mean...

Coonie and SV have the answer right..the way I understand him,, and it is a bit hard to understand the translation some times..

If I read this right, you are trying to get it rolling from a stop in too high of a gear. Start out in 5th or 6th gear, then shift up one gear at a time till you are in the higher gear. When the tractor is cold, shifting into some of the higher gears (is it 12th gear to 13th gear?) will almost kill the engine until the transmission is warmed up.

I am sorry for my language. I try to make the best of it. First of all thanks for the quick responses.
@coonie, the tractor is not just rocking a bit forward or reverse. It is really moving, not fast but it is going forward. Sometimes backwards.
@SV, I am really sorry for asking but could you explain what you mean?
@Tx Jim, that is what I mean. Only the engine will not stop totally. It almost stops totally i believe. I am not sure about that. I should ask the owner if it is important to know.

I am very sorry for my lack of English. I appreciate your help and time.

Your English is fine. We just needed a little more explanation. I agree with fixerupper one needs to start motion in a lower gear then shift up to higher gears without depressing foot pedal

I agree with Tx Jim in that your English is fine... probably better than a lot of us on here, where it is our native tongue!!

As for he park issue, I have a 4450 that sheared a pin on the external linkage, and that caused park not to work. In that case it was a simple, cheap fix. It could be that, or it could be inside. If you can hold the tractor from creeping ahead or back in neutral with the brakes, then I think the transmission itself is OK, but the issue is just with the park engagement.
