The tractor on picture here looks really neat with the 12.4-42, but where did they came from? They are not in JDParts?
What is the Part numbers for those centers? Is this a factory equipment? Only 42'' centers I can find is on the 45-4620 parts book, but they are not the same at all and will look fairly bad on 2520 + would need custom made wedges that would not be cheap.
As usual, many questions, but I am sure someone will know the answers.

Thanks,

Looks like 42 inch from a 2 cyl, like from a 520 with large, long axels, casting # A4517R (just went out and looked), the 4 holes and dish shape look the same. This is on a 3 and 1/8 inch axel, may fit other axels with different wedges.

IH used a 10x42 inch rim made by Electric Wheel in Quincy, Ill that had eight equally spaced triangles of
steel welded into the inside diameter of the rim to mount 12.4x42. tires on 686 and Hydro 86 Hi-Clear
tires. They MIGHT still be available thru parts. If you could find bare rims a welding shop could cut the
triangles and weld them in. Great job for a Laser cutting table, plasma table, maybe even a CNC Turret
punch press.

That particular 2520D power shift and had extra long axles and was very nice and brought around $40K.Wedges would be your limiting factor especially on 3020.If you want 42in rubber step up rims are a reasonable alternative. If I remember correctly that tractor was used for vegetable growing.
