can any of John Deere fans tell me how the cables attach to the powertrol on a model G? I'm building a model.

I bought one two year ago and gave it to my brother in Missouri as we only get snow about every 7 yrs. There is a framework that attaches to the front pedestal with a pulley on each end of the framework. The cables on each side attach to the frame or blade run through the pedestal pulleys go back under the rear axles and attach to link arms on the rock shafts. Try googling the internet to get some pictures. It is a slick rig as the blades angles left and right and is easy to install. My brother has it on his John Deere 60 with a Comfort Heater for winter.

That looks awesome so far! I had a MT72 plow on my MT which is pretty close to the ABG 90. I put a link below to a video which shows some of the attachments and it working. The other guys gave you the parts diagrams already.

The MT-72 and the ABG-90 are the same plows.
The ABG had a 90" blade where the MT had a 72" blade.
Also, there were adapters that were needed to attach the cables to the MT lift arms (shown in one of my pictures)

I tried finding some of those brackets - like hen's teeth. I never got around to making any either. When I bought my plow the cables had the M/MT Y yolks that attach to the lift arms already on it. I just used the spring loaded pin and attached to the Y Yolks on the tractor. Worked fine without any rubbing on the funder mounts or axles. The plow raised and lowered without any problems as well. I always wondered if maybe it would have raised a bit higher with those brackets as the cable would have pulled further back.
