Does anyone know if a 730d will lift a john deere 6 row 7000 pull type planter full of seed and liquid starter fertilizer? Thanks-Happy

What does the planter have for a lift? Conservation planter would have 4 cylinders while a drawn planter would depend on what the farmer threw on. The wider the cylinder piston the greater the lifting force. Probably would want at least a 3 1/2 diameter bore. How good are the hydraulics on the 730 meaning are they up to factory spec? A worn pump would definitely pose a problem.

Probably would lift it ,but it would be slow. May want to add an auxilliary pto driven pump for more flow, and even a bit more pressure.
