Is there an easy way to repair the 3 point hitch where the balls fit in. Mine are worn on the arms where an implement would hook to, and on the link to the rockshaft. The arms slip over the balls. I see TSC has some repair ends that you cut off the end where the ball fits in, and weld the new one on. Is this what I should do? I rather not cut up the original lift arm or the link for that matter. I'm torn which way to go. Tractor is a work tractor and not a show piece and probably never will be.

Cutting the old off and welding new on is the way to go, I use my cut saw to cut the old off and bevel the edges back a bit, be careful and keep them the same length and angle..If you don't feel comfortable with it a weld shop would make short work of it..

When I have had that problem and the balls falling out I have taken a large washer and heated it up and then hammer them to the shape needed to hold the ball In and then weld it on

I will second just replacing the worn ones with the weld on type. Just try and get a good quality weld on ball. Some of the China made replacement ends are so soft they will wear out on a few years.
