Difference in 3 point lift capabilities 60 vrs 630

My understanding is the 630 hydraulics was vastly improved from the 60's hydraulic systems. From posts on here my understanding is the limit to a 60 rockshaft lifting is around 800lbs, my question is, does the 630 rockshaft have greater lifting abilities than 800lbs?

Thanks

The "normal" 3pt on a 620-630 is the biggest improvement. Hyd. pressure should be more too.
Being able to separate 3pt and hyd. outlet functions is a BIG plus too.
I think I lifted a 1500 lb. generator with my JD530 and a 3pt fork lift fork frame. So this was behind the hitch balls. I'm not 100% sure I used the 530, but know I did use a 620 to do that once. So they do lift pretty good.

I lifted and carried 1500+ lb round bales with the 3pt on a 630. Some of the heavier bales made the hydraulics squeal though.

Jim, my 630 hydraulics won't squeal with a super heavy bale, but the front end might come off of the ground, ha. My neighbors feed tractor broke down, and I fed hay with my 630 for him for a month. Heaviest bales I ever messed with. He had a real gentle rise into his feed area, and I had to either tie the bale to the spear, or back up to the feeders. Those bales were supposed to weigh 2000 lbs, but I never had the chance to weigh one. I had a 45 loader on the 630, but I refused to try to haul one on the loader. They weren't designed for a load like that. Of course, the three point wasn't designed for it either. Who had heard of a 2000 lb bale in 1960.

I can stick the same bale with my 50 - same results - nose in the air. I think the 60 should lift a 1500 lb bale, but would pick the front end if not on level ground.

My 60 will lift and carry 1500 pound bales. It makes the front end really light and soft ground can make the front end come up. I steered with the brakes when that happened. A few times when the snow and mud was deep, I would have to back to the feeders.
